Administration and Project Standardization

Our roadmap for Administration and Project Standardization currently focuses on creating tools to help streamline project setup and create company-wide standards along with enhancements to our data federation capabilities.

Account Admin Improvements

Autodesk Construction Cloud account administrators will have the ability to automatically sync the latest versions of all Revit models to AEC Data model.

Bridge Enhancements

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will be able to share Autodesk Data Exchange files across projects and accounts.

Global Templates in Library

Autodesk Construction Cloud account admins will be able to leverage more specific project templates to kick off projects faster, such as an ISO19650, General Contractor, Subcontractor, and Owner template.

Document Management

Our roadmap for Document Management currently focuses on delivering more controls and flexibility for the Common Data Environment along with enhancements to the approval flow, models viewing engine, and standards.

Files Enhancements

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will be able to export 2D views of DWG and RVT files with markups into PDFs.

Markups | 3D Issue Pin Design (Web)

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will notice an updated 3D issue pin UX design on web.

Sheet Permissions in Project Templates

Autodesk Build account admins will be able to set Sheet permissions for specific roles in their project templates.

Specifications on Android

Autodesk Docs users will be able to view uploaded specification documents by sections, and search and filter specifications on their Android device.

Construction Management

Our roadmap for Construction Management currently focuses on building tools that allow users to leverage models in construction, increase customization and support better control in cost and project management workflows including RFIs, Submittals and Correspondence and improve onsite scheduling.

Asset Systems

Autodesk Build users will be able to group assets together as a system and track the system as a whole.

Correspondence Enhancements

Autodesk Build users will be able to reply to Correspondence on iOS, bulk send Correspondence to all project members, see an activity log and view the previous message history for replies emailed into the system.

Cost Management Budget Snapshots

Autodesk Build Cost Management users will be able to capture a “snapshot” of the project budget at specific points in time and compare different snapshot versions for quick analysis.

Forms Section Reassignment

Autodesk Build users will have be able to reassign Forms sections.

Meeting Templates

Autodesk Build account admins will be able to create meeting templates at the account level that teams can then leverage when creating a new meeting on a project.

Schedule Enhancements

Autodesk Build users will be able to create subtasks for any tasks within their work plans on the web and edit task progress on iOS.

Submittal Enhancements

IT teams will be able to leverage Create APIs to surface Submittal Items and Specifications and Build users will experience an enhanced Submittals items list view.

Specifications on Android

Autodesk Build users will be able to view uploaded specification documents by sections, and search and filter specifications on their Android device.

BIM/VDC

Our roadmap for BIM and VDC currently focuses on bringing model qualification and conditioning to the unified platform and creating interconnected BIM solutions that provide easy access and value to stakeholders.

Coordination Space Configuration

Autodesk BIM Collaborate users will be able to configure their coordination space by selecting specific folders to include for aggregation and clash, providing greater control over the content included in coordination.

Additional file types

By adding NWD and DGN file types to aggregate and review, BIM Collaborate users will have the ability to collaborate with more stakeholders and unlock new use cases.

Save Configurations on the Object Table

Column additions and order can play a big role in what get’s seen in a model’s data and what doesn’t. Now you can save these object table configurations for future use.

Correspondence Enhancements

Autodesk BIM Collaborate users will be able to reply to Correspondence on iOS, bulk send Correspondence to all project members, see an activity log and view the previous message history for replies emailed into the system.

Preconstruction

Our roadmap for Preconstruction currently focuses on delivering a connected and powerful preconstruction experience for bidding, risk management, quantity takeoff, and estimating to help enable contractors to quickly and confidently win more of the right work.

Inventory Panel Improvements

Takeoff users will have an improved inventory panel experience. When takeoff exists on multiple sheets, they can see which sheets the takeoff type exists on and document names will be hyperlinked

Data and Intelligence

Our roadmap for Data and Intelligence currently focuses on creating in-product customizable reports, dashboards and additional features to help companies get actionable insights from their data.

Autodesk Construction Cloud users will be able to create a Report with unique formatting and layout requirements to summarize Issues within the project, which could help customer projects meet certain Japanese government requirements.
